LIZZIE STITCH
Your Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines feature soft-touch button controls on each handle. When you select the famous Lizzie Stitch, your machine coordinates with your movements; as you move the machine it sews, when you stop it stops with you. With stitch regulation so precise, and stitching as small as 21 stitches per inch, you have the finest ability for micro stippling.
I love this feature because when I'm concentrating on patterns with a lot of points, when I stop at a point the machine stops, so I don't get knots in my quilting.
AUTO NEEDLE POSITIONER
With your Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines, you have the ability to have the machine stop in the needle up position or needle down position.
It minimizes bending or breaking needles. With this feature it means when I am interrupted and have to stop quilting I can leave the machine in the needle down position and pick right back up quilting when I get back (without missing a stitch).
BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER W/LARGE BOBBIN.
Your Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines offer a built-in bobbin winder that winds while you quilt so your next bobbin is always ready. It also features the largest available bobbin capacity, the M-size bobbin.
LASER LIGHT
The Laser Light with 4 sample paper patterns included simplifies following patterns when operating from the back of the Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines. Laser mounts on the back of the machine or the deck of the frame for optimal use. Ergonomic handles can be moved to the back side of the machine or easier use.
LIGHT - Your Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines offer you light where you need it! This flexible lamp bends close for micro stippling, and adjusts to the back for pantographs. As seen in the picture above.
ERGONOMIC HANDLES - They adjust up and down to minimize the risk of carpal tunnel injuries. They allow or ease of operation and a reduction of fatigue in the wrists, arms, and shoulders. There is comfortable rubber on the handles for a great feel. As seen in the picture above.
HOPPING FOOT - The hopping foot on your Tin Lizzie 18DLS holds down the fabric while the needle completes the stitch. The foot height can be adjusted up and down for thickness of batting or material. The foot also allows for stitching next to rulers and templates.
FRAME - The wood frame for the Tin Lizzie 18DLS quilting machines was designed with the home quilter in mind. It is made of 13 ply laminated Baltic Birch wood, of the highest quality and strength. Easy assembly allows for the quilter to quilt from a table runner up to a king size quilt. The Tin Lizzie 18LS mounts on an easy carry deck that glides as if it was floating on air. This allows for ease of quilting. Frame uses 1 1/4" EMT conduit pipe which is not included. You can set this frame up at four different lengths from 51/2 feet to 10 feet. Frame depth: 39 1/2 inches and you need to add 8' for maximum machine mobility. Please call for additional information about the medal frame.
